Summary/Abstract: This article deals with the main phonetic characteristic features of the Bulgarian dialect spoken in the village of Glafki, Xanthy region (Greece). First, the authors describe the dialectal situation in the Bulgarian speaking villages in North Eastern Greece. Then a description of the vowel and consonant phonemes of the dialect in research, as well as of other phonetic features, follows, based on different sources. And, at the end, two texts from the Bulgarian Glafki dialect are shown: one taken from a book that contains folklore texts, and one recorded by the authors of the article.
