Summary/Abstract: Fascination with the Ethiopian tradition of the icon inspired Barbara Goshu to paint on stone and wooden board. S. Chojnacki presented the artistic undertakings of Barbara and Worku Goshu and their striving towards attaining equilibrium between modern means of expression and the traditional atavistic manner used by the painters of ancient Ethiopia.
