New legislation as a source of change in the education and organization of school tourism

Summary/Abstract: Różne formy imprez turystycznych z udziałem dzieci i młodzieży mogą mieć istotny wpływy na ich rozwój i wychowanie. Korzyści wynikające z takich aktywności nabierają jeszcze większe-go znaczenia w kontekście współczesnego stylu życia młodych osób, który został zdominowany przez bierne formy spędzania czasu wolnego, komputer, internet, TV i niezdrowe odżywianie. Aby móc konkurować z komputerem i zachęcić dzieci oraz młodzież do wyjazdów turystycznych, należy szczególnie zadbać o ciekawe programy wycieczek, rajdów, spływów czy obozów. Jedno-cześnie, programując imprezy turystyczne i planując czynności organizacyjne, należy uwzględniać obowiązujące przepisy prawne, aby zapewnić bezpieczeństwo uczestników. Ruch krajoznawczo- -turystyczny w szkołach jest normowany przez przepisy, które są wyznaczane i dekretowane przez Ministerstwo Edukacji Narodowej. W tym zakresie ustawodawca dokonał w ostatnich latach pewnych zmian. Niniejszy artykuł przybliża i porządkuje najświeższe zmiany legislacyjne doty-czące organizacji wycieczek szkolnych i innych typów szkolnych imprez turystycznych oraz nowych zasad organizowania i nadzorowania wypoczynku dzieci i młodzieży. Various forms of tourist events involving children and youth can have a significant influence on their upbringing, development and education. They are conducive to the realization of educa-tional tasks in a much more attractive conditions than the classroom. The benefits of such forms of activity are even more important in the context of the modern lifestyle of young people, which has been dominated by passive forms of leisure, computer, Internet, TV and unhealthy nutrition. In order to encourage children and youth to tourist trips it’s important to create the interesting pro-grams of trips, rallies, canoeing or camps. At the same time, during programming packages and planning organizational activities, the existing regulations should be taken into account to ensure the safety of participants. Tourist movement and sightseeing in schools is regulated by the rules, which are determined and decreed by the Ministry of Education The legislator has made in recent years some changes. This article introduces and organizes the most recent legislative changes concerning the organization of school trips, other types of school tourist events and a leisure of children and youth.
