Summary/Abstract: This article presents the periodical Biblioteca Nouă (The New Library), which was printed in the city of Orăştie at the Minerva Printing House. This publication appeared under the supervision of Enea Hodoş, Romanian folklorist and member of the Romanian Academy. The approximately 100 issues featured articles penned by significant Romanian writers, such as Vasile Alecsandri, Alexandru Odobescu, Ion Creangă, Ioan Slavici, George Coşbuc, B. Şt. Delavrancea, Alexandru Vlahuţă.
