Summary/Abstract: The obligation of social workers is to put effort in meeting the basic human needs. The difficult economic situation, the complex political circumstances and the limited legal framework, sometimes create additional ethical dilemmas for the social workers. Social workers may feel that they lack resources or limiting laws deprive responsibility, while professional ethics are still bounding them. This paper highlights some of the limitations, problems, ethical dilemmas, but also possibilities for social workers in the pursuing the ethical practice.
