Summary/Abstract: The following article is devoted to the parish catechization in the obligatory church requirements. Firstly, it has been discussed that the parish is the basic catechetical environment. Secondly, the active subject of catechetical education in the parish has been presented, as well as the catechesis' addressees, which have been divided according to their age or living conditions. The final part is focused on the organization of the catechesis in the parish.
