MULTIPLICATION OF AGRICULTURAL EXPENDITURE FOR THE YEAR 2016 BUDGET OF THE EUROPEAN FUNDS

Summary/Abstract: Financing for the development of the domestic agricultural sector depends on the EU funds increasingly. The aim of the article was to show the extent to which funding from the European budget multiplies government expenditure on the development of agriculture, rural areas and agricultural markets. It has been proven that from the Poland’s accession to the European Union the development of the Polish agricultural sector is progressively dependent on the Community funding. It was clearly indicated by the last two years, when the financial resources from the European budget directed to the agricultural sector exceeded the national funding.
