Summary/Abstract: This article studies the agricultural terms exactly the names of domestic animals in the Gagauz language. The investigation is carried out on the historical comparative method. The author tries to determine the etymology of the names of some domestic animals. The investigations proves that the ancient Gagauz were busy cattle breeding and a great part of the animal names have common Turkic origin.
