Summary/Abstract: This article discusses East Slavic male names that were found in a document dated1668. These names were recorded both in their primary forms and as derivatives.The majority of registered derivatives were created by means of the suffixes: -uk and-ko. Iwan was the most popular name of the East Slavs, but names such as Wasiel,Wasil, Wasko, Danilo, Danielo, Fiedor, Chwidor, Chwiedor, Denis, Danis and Siemionwere also frequently used.
