Summary/Abstract: The paper deals with structural and semantic analysis of a Glagolitic manuscript which probably served as an amulet. The paper discusses the text function, its predominant type, as well as its typical medieval intertextuality and citation. The changes in structure and composition, occuring in the process of borrowing from the Biblical texts as well as the new meaning these Glagolitic texts acquire in the new context are discussed. Furthermore, these changes are compared to literary labeling and abstracting in some medieval heretic manuscripts.
