Summary/Abstract: The present article discusses upon the new tendencies in the Romanian geopolitics, which, under the impact of globalization and, much more, of Euro-Atlantic integration, have framed an increased visibility of Romania abroad and overseas. By making use of its status, as riverain country to the Black Sea, Romania operates as an important actor of stability and security for this area, trying to act more and more like a real regional power, by signing new cooperation, agreements and partnerships
