A comparative study of the divergence in rates of return from foreign direct investments – evidence from the Polish economy

Summary/Abstract: The goal of the research is to present the divergence in rates of return on inward foreign direct investments (FDI) and outward foreign direct investments (FDIA) of emerging market economy on the example of Poland. The comparison between the efficiency of foreign direct investments and low risk financial instruments was also conducted. The evidence of higher rates of return on inward foreign direct investment in Poland (FDI) than on Polish outward foreign direct investments (FDIA) in the countries with developed economies was received.
