Summary/Abstract: In Morocco, marriage remains a decisive event and an all-important choice. In a world in which misunderstandings poison our daily acts and interpersonal relationships, young Moroccan men and women are often unable to find the husband or wife they want and long for. And some Moroccan oulémas, far from facilitating such events as they should as religious scholars, make the situation even worse by contradicting Islam’s purest foundations.
