Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on social capital in terms of the concept of complexity. The article attempts to explain the formation of the process of adaptation of economic structures of the regions, taking into account the complexity of social capital. The article sets a synthetic index of social capital provinces and comparing it with the process of transformation of the structure of employment in the regions in 2009–2014.
