Choice of suppliers in the outsourcing receivables management services

Summary/Abstract: One of the key success factors of the outsourcing contract is a selection of a service provider. The aim of the article is the analysis of the preferred features and criteria connected with the selection of the external providers of services in receivable management and the indication of risk cooperation. Surveyed managers responsible for a strategy and the process of receivable management confirm that lot of attention should be paid to the selection as it causes far-fetched consequences. The assessment of a potential provider should be objective, thorough and conducted on the basis of relevant selection criteria. It should also take into account the risk which was identified earlier and which is related with the outsourcing of receivables management process in order to reduce the said risk to the minimum.
