Summary/Abstract: Alexander Georg Supan (1847-1920) was Austrian geographer. He served as editor of the magazine "Petermanns Geographische Mittheilungen", he was a professor, among others, the University of Wroclaw in the years 1909-1916. His main work was the book: Grundzüge der physischen Erdkunde, released in 1884. In which He presented his concepts of the state. He alluded in it, among others, acquis classic German geopolitics Friedrich Ratzla. Supan claimed, inter alia, that the borders are only temporary reflection of the strength of the country, so there may be a Factor permanent.
