Summary/Abstract: Military intervention against Iraq in 2003 after September 2011 Attacks deeply damaged the fundamental dynamics of Iraq and caused its secession ethnically and denominationally. This development after the military invention in question considerably influenced Turkey as well as other Middle Eastern states neighboring Iraq. Hence, following the military intervention of the USA, Turkey was forced to face critical foreign political issues originating from Iraq that pose a threat for her national interests and security. Within this framework, this article aims to explore that the refusal of dissentive 1st March vote by Turkish Grand National Assembly caused crucial Iraq-based problems for Turkey’s domestic and foreign security and national interests, that intended to provide the Government with the authority to send Turkish Armed Forces abroad and relocating foreign armed forces in Turkey.
