Facts About the Higher State Education in Oradea Between 1990 and 2000, as Seen in the Local Written Press

Summary/Abstract: This paper presents how a higher education institution, the University of Oradea, evolved between 1990-2000. Issues considered by the emergence and development of faculties, to student life, are presented according to the information published by the local press from Oradea in those years. The author tried thereby pointing the role of this institution in the Romanian academic environment, and how both teachers and students have contributed to the development of the University.
