Summary/Abstract: The article attempts to respond to the concerns of including personal experience in the interpretation practice with particular emphasis on faith and religious experience. The interpretation practice put the ongoing literature discourse in the question of "meaning" that text reading shows as a situation of crisis - the tension between peculiar work of the critic(interpreter), and existence. The confrontation between the situation of reading and religious experience indicates on the one hand on the "Community" sources of text and on the other hand to the personal meeting of the reading and its significance recognition. Entry into a personal relationship with the text means the interaction that creates in readers a need to respond to the literary word heard. Article's reflection on the meaning of literary criticism is viewed through the prism of biblical figures "Servant of YHWH”.
