Summary/Abstract: The article is dedicated to the concept of “superconsciousness” which was for the firsttime put into the theatre dictionary by Stanislavski. Discussed area of psychical activity ofthe artist, also called creative intuition, has been deeply analysed by psychophysiologistP. Simonow and P. Jerszow, theatre practitioner and theoretician, and it is the key tounderstanding of Stanislavski’s “system”. The important aspect in the process of rearing ofthe actor is skillful incitement of the consciousness and subconsciousness of creative subjectin order to awake the sphere of superconsciousness – the essence of creativity.
