Summary/Abstract: Beatrice di Tenda is a tragedia lirica in due atti on Felice Romani’s libretto after the historic tragedy Beatrice Tenda. From the entire opera I chose to analyze the final part. In comparison with the other scenes, this ending, part of act II, scene 2, is shorter, but it is remarkably expressive, with a balanced construction. The scene is structured into four large fragments. It is remarkable the gradation mingling of voices: one can notice how the composer starts from presenting the theme with one voice and eventually combines three voices..
