Summary/Abstract: During World War I, as a result of the offensive of the Central Countries in mid 1915, part of the territory of the former Kingdom Polish – including and Radom – was placed under Austrian occupation. The new authorities instructed the local political elite again to organize the municipality and determine his competence and complete staff personnel. The newly recruited officials they became the largest workers group of the Municipality of Radom. It was from them depend on the smooth functioning of the office. Therefore, a key issue it became regulate matters relating to staff salaries. The issue of regulating salaries of office workers in Radom Municipality in the first period its functioning has not been determined and underwent frequent changes. Same salaries were not high, therefore, the city authorities try to support materially officials organizing them in the form of general help additives cash allowances or benefits. However, all measures taken were temporary only. This state of affairs continued until the mid twenties of the twentieth centurywhen the President's Regulation of 30 December 1924 municipality have been obliged to introduce in the form of the statute time equivalent positions for employees specifying required for these positions qualifications and standards attached to them salaries. On 28 October 1933 it was issued a further next Regulation of the President of the Republic of Poland. It required that the salaries of these persons were calculated in the same way as for government officials and army. Given these guidelines, the city authorities in 1934 prepared statute, which was approved by the governor Kielce on 5 January 1935. It adopted regulations regarding the remuneration of civil servants be in force until the outbreak of World War II.
