Summary/Abstract: Increasing share of tourism expenditure in disposable income in recent years, developments in logistics and communication technologies and also desire of visiting new destinations has positioned tourism industry as one of the fastest growing one. Turkey has a high competitiveness level by its tourism potential, differentiation, focusing and varieties of services. It is certain that one of the most important factors affecting tourism demand is accommodation facilities of the destination. In this context, secondary residences in Turkey (sea homes, second homes, highland houses used seasonal), on has huge and hidden potential to increase the volume and mobility of the tourism. To create multiplying effect by using secondary housing depends on the ability of organizing and penetrating to different markets via information technologies.
