Letters from Readers in the Newspapers Neue Banater Zeitung and Szabad Szó from Timișoara

Summary/Abstract: The study reflects on letters from readers in general and after a theoretical introduction follows the processing of letters written to the youth page Treffpunkt of the newspaper Neue Banater Zeitung and analyses columns for children, youth and family of the newspaper Szabad Szó. As a result, the comparative study found that liaising with readers took place not only through the pages of the analyzed newspapers, but there was also a living communicative platform between publications and target audience, which has helped preserve social values in a way that in today’s post-communist reality, dominated by Facebook, would be completely unimaginable.
