Consequences of transforming Polish native formants

Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the possibilities of transforming native formants. The author focuses on the consequences of such transformations. Polish has two main types of processes causing new affixes (or variants) to crystallize: superimposed morphemes and phonetic transformations. Such processes help widen the scope of derivation, whether formal or semantic, but they pose a threat the clarity of the word-formation picture.
