Partnerships of Sexual Minorities in Programmes of Polish Political Parties

Summary/Abstract: In this article, I present an analysis of the position of Polish political parties on the subject of human partnerships. I have analysed this topic in the context of issues concerning couples of the same sex. The purpose of the research is to show how parties treat the theme of human partnerships. I have also analysed the aspects which opponents and supporters of the samesex partnerships focus their attention to. Some of the demands of the LGBT community are not compatible with political parties’ programmes. I have quoted some general ideological declarations of political parties as the communities of sexual minorities quite often refer to them looking for support.
