Summary/Abstract: The article is devoted to the elections to the Parliament of the Province of the West Pomeranian in 2014. The author draws attention to the action taken by the environment local politicians from different cities of the Province of the West Pomerania (Szczecin, Koszalin, Police, Stargard Szczeciński), have taken a joint decision to build a nonpartisan electoral committee in elections West Pomeranian Regional Assembly. Authors of the project decided that appearing in the electoral coalition will be able to compete with political parties. The project gave the election, only one councilor, does not mean, however, that ended in unequivocal failure. On the contrary, we recognize that this is the first step on the road to compete with political parties. A step that may in the future bring greater political benefits and give another dimension to the scene after the elections at the regional level.
