Summary/Abstract: Article is based on the analysis of changes in turnout in local elections in the years 2002 - 2014, as well as the change of the population entitled to vote on the selected area of West Pomeranian Province. Located emphasis on the city of Szczecin and adjacent to the boundaries of the districts , according to the membership of Szczecin metropolitan area . Focus precisely on this area is not accidental , and closely related to the movement of the population. Adopted analysis is to attempt to find answers to the questions : what impact on attendance are changes dictated by the flow of population to the neighboring municipalities of Szczecin? Is municipalities neighboring big cities attract individuals who are conscious political? At the same time they adopted a hypothesis: the more advanced the process of suburbanization in the existing structures of the residence of the lower electoral participation.
