Summary/Abstract: In this article the author tackles the problem of the stamp duty in the case of civil lawsuits with regard to fixing and granting moral prejudice. The structure and contents of the article reveal commentaries on the constitutionality and interpretation of the dispositions of art. 7 from the Government Emergency Ordinance no. 80/2013 on stamp duties, analyzed also with comparison to the dispositions of art. 15. let. f1) from the old regulation of stamp duties (Law no. 146/1997). In closing, the author reminds us that the violation of the honor, dignity or reputation of an individual is made possible through an almost infinite array of deeds, and not just by the uttering of insults, slander or disparagement, and expresses his viewpoint with regard to a recent jurisprudential solution.
