Summary/Abstract: After two major economic crises during November 2000 and February 2001 periods in Turkish economy has experienced great changes and transformations. Strengthening the financial system significant steps to deepen the financial structure, it becomes an important country for the energy corridor and political and bureaucratic steps to increase of international trade has emerged the positive effects for the Turkey’s position in the world economy. This situation created opportunities for Turkey to be among the countries of G-20 as the 16th largest economy on the world. Turkey has claimed to be more effective political and economic power in its region, in addition to this situation Turkey aims to take an active role out of the passive structure. Turkish foreign trade data have been presented with EU-27, Russian Federation and USA and after than these data has compared with foreign trade between Turkey and Middle East countries, Central Asia Turkish Republics and Balkan countries in this study. Starting from these data our study will questioned to structure of foreign trade of Turkey and whether there is a focus of economic and political power or not in its region.
