Summary/Abstract: Migration can be defined as a general act and a universal event in which the people move from their own places to another place due to the economic, social, political and cultural reasons. This study is limited to the phenomenon of migration in Turkey. Furthermore, the emerging reasons and results of migration and the phenomenon of migration in Turkey have been discussed after migration and the phenomenon of migration have been conceptually mentioned in this study. In the second place, the types of migration have been mentioned, then integration of people who have migrated to cities in Turkey and their negative and positive effects over the cities have been evaluated. In conclusion, the solutions have been offered in order to reduce migrations.
