Summary/Abstract: The article is a case study of the speech of a 17-month old infant compared to the speech of a 30-month old child. It also provides an example of applying the acoustic methods in order to examine the child speech. The results of acoustic analysis were presented as formants’ values that were computed using the Praat speech processing software.
