Summary/Abstract: The article deals with the issue of building the reputation of the enterprise through quality management and the system of communicating that. The role of indicated actions was analysed using two existing models of building reputation i.e. "building in process" and "building through values". The authors describe the quality actions and initiatives as factors responsible for building enterprise's identity and its image. The way they are communicated to the potential stakeholders influences their opinion about the enterprise as a reliable, credible, responsible and trustworthy organization. The article presents also various quality actions aimed at the creation of reputation, which in turn affects the market value of the enterprise.
