Summary/Abstract: Classical and modern ethics as a philosophical science not only agree about the position that the core values of human life and human society are expressed in the contents of their fundamental concepts, but they actuallyagree in the fact that these values are of unchangeable meaning. In this way, those concepts themselves, in modern times, in times of modern ethical creation, retain their validity, which confirms the continuing need for harmonization of ethical opinion with modernization of life, respectively permanent society development. Hence our task in this text is to stress the relevance of basic ethical concepts, as well as their importance for the doctrine of ethics and for journalism today.
