Summary/Abstract: Some aspects of language, terminology, communicative-pragmatic, textual, discursive competences expressions of linguistic identity of economists are presented in the article. It outlines the impact of an economist’s personality traits as a mentor on the formation of a linguistic beginner’s identity.
