Summary/Abstract: The study of lexical fields passes through several stages: language corpus structuring, semiotic analysis, syntagmatic analysis, and study of frequency. Such an approach requires the use of general language dictionaries (Thesaurus). For comparative studies, a significant problem is whether all dictionaries include the same amount of information for each entry, as well as the same rigorous quality in the presentation of language facts. The macrostructure and microstructure are the relevant criteria which allow a comparative study of dictionaries.
