Summary/Abstract: The aim of this paper is to research an unknown novel in Slovak literature entitled Hrušovianski hriešnici, the last work by Gejza Vámoš. This paper discusses how this never-published novel originated. The main part of our thesis is a confrontation of this novel with another work by Gejza Vámoš – Odlomená haluz.
