Summary/Abstract: This paper deals with the influence of social traditions in Kyrgyzstan compared with the Kyrgyzvillage of Ulupamir in Turkey. The aim of the paper is to compare the influence oftraditions in everyday life in these two places. The notion of tradition and the social significanceof a pastoral society are influenced by the climatic conditions of the country too.Aspects of Kyrgyz traditions include the respect for religious practices and their relationshipto religion, family and family ceremony, the organisation of society in everyday life, kitchen,and the preservation of Kyrgyz customs such as music, literature, crafts and influence pastoraltradition to everyday life. The conclusion is to evaluate the differences and similarities of selectedKyrgyz traditions.
