Summary/Abstract: The main objective of the paper is to show relatively little known process of collectivizationin Soviet Central Asia. The aim is to show the specifics of the collectivization of Sovietagriculture on the example of Kazakhstan. The peasants were first given some land only to betaken it away in several years during the process of collectivization. The poor farmers, especially those who lacked good civil morals saw a chance to decide the future conception ofthe countryside. It seems that most of them did not see or were not able to see the sense of allthese changes in the social structure of the village, and especially the real intentions thecommunists had. Any ideological influence on the countryside is very harmful in its effect, and the consequences are difficult to remove even after a long period of time.
