Summary/Abstract: In this article we intend to unpack a number of issues concerning future developments in teacher education with a focus on the State of Brandenburg. We will attempt to undertake our discussion from a point of view of megatrends and scenarios in a kind of futuristic projection. We will address some framework conditions for teacher education and subsequently we project this into a situational context of the State of Brandenburg generally and the Potsdam Model of teacher training especially.
