Summary/Abstract: The analysis of gross regional product of Odessa region (Ukraine) for 2007–2014 is made by current and fixed prices, the structure of the region’s foreign trade is studied by amount, tenor of technology and selected commodity codes. Peculiarities in the dynamics of change in the exportimport ratio are revealed for the whole nomenclature of goods and for products manufactured in industries classified in 3rd, 4th and 5th tenor of technology. Measures to intensify investment- and innovation-based development of the regional economy are proposed, for industry optimization and effective restructuring of the regional economy and foreign trade in industrial goods.
