Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this study is to examine the empirical relationship between manufactured exports and economic growth in SADC. This study applied the recent panel econometric methods to determine the long run equilibrium between manufactured exports and economic growth. The results of this study indicate that there is an existence of long run equilibrium between manufactured export and economic growth during 1980 to 2012. The results show that there is a positive impact of manufactured exports on economic growth in SADC. Furthermore, the study applied causality analysis and it was found that causality is running from economic growth to manufactured exports.
