Summary/Abstract: Vladimir Maximov, one of the most outstanding representatives of the “third wave” of Russian emigration, the long-standing editor-in-chief of the famous “Continent” created a systemof values pertaining to the Christian concept of universalities in his prose pieces. Love features inthe very centre of those universalities. It also occupies a key place in Maximov«s system of values. Undoubtedly, it has a Christian dimension.
