Summary/Abstract: In the European Qualifications Framework competences are determined in categories of autonomy and responsibility. They indicate proven ability of using knowledge as well as social and personal skills in professional career or study (Potyrała, 2011). The subject of the research were competencies of students future-teachers. The research relied on analysis of the undergoing teacher training curricula linked to social competencies area which students should develop during their studies. The research were also attended by students whose task was to determine their level of teachers’ competences in the social aspect. The main results were that teacher training curricula include all essential educational effects which are related to civilization transformations and that students highly appraised the level and field of their social competences.
