Summary/Abstract: Indissolubility of Marriage is the most important characteristic of marriage. e article presents the Lutheran point of view on the issue citing the theologians’ and lawyers’ works. e aim of the paper is to look closer at the fact that the Evangelical Church of the Augsburg Confession in Poland tolerates divorces and to help to understand the position from the catholic point of view.
