Summary/Abstract: In the age when professional translators work regularly with translation specific software, translation training programmes need to keep up with the rapidly growing requirements for high-level technicalities and practicalities. Using an interactive, active-participative approach, the present paper proposes a process oriented teaching strategy, designed to develop a multifaceted perspective on translation competence with undergraduate translation trainees, while also enabling them as cultural mediators.
