Summary/Abstract: Digital libraries open access to digital copies of materials stored in libraries and other institutions: books, old prints, manuscripts, cartographies, graphics and leaflets. One of many Polish digital libraries using dLibra framework is the Silesian Digital Library launched in 2006. It involves sixty two institutions including libraries, higher education units, museums and archives. The library collection exceeded 100,000 items, many of which are related to faith and church issues. They are mainly included in Religious semi-section which contains 7,299 publications. The article presents some thematic groups from this collection together with selected publications. The editions of Bible, liturgical and prayer books, catechisms, pilgrimage accounts to the Holy Land, historical monographs, commemorative editions, publications by Silesian priests, lives of the saints, periodicals and graphics were described among them. The books related to other confessions (Protestantism, Judaism and Islam) were also mentioned.
