Summary/Abstract: The year 1335 represents the first documentary attestation of Lechinţa, a villagewith a majority of German population. Through the years, Lechinţa took part in severalhistorical events which brought also important changes for the people leaving there. Inthis paper the author will focus upon the effects of the Hungarian government establishmentand of the adoption of the Anti-Semitic policies upon the Jewish communityof the village.
