Summary/Abstract: Islamic philosophy can be described as the sum of the ideas of the Islamic world. For this reason Islamic philosophy should not be seen as a philosophical construction of Islamic religion. It would be more appropriate view Islamic philosophy as a philosophy in the Islamic world. In this article, three philosophical movements in the Islamic world have been studied. Maddiyyun is the first of these movements involving Ebu Bekir Zakariya Razi and Ibn Ravendi. The next one is the rationalist philosophical movement embracing Farabi, Ibn Sina, Ibn Bacce and Ibn Rüşd. The third is the Isari philosophy movement in which Sühreverdi is defined as Isari. Except for the scholars mentioned so far, Kindi, Ghazali and Ibn Khaldun have also been tackled. In this article, document analysis has been used as the data collection technique. In the study, it has been concluded that Islamic philosophy has come into contact with other cultures and reached an eclectic structure with the accumulation in its own world.
