Summary/Abstract: It is very difficult or even impossible for farmers and especially small farmers to obtain loans from banks or other financial institutions, because the banks don’t trust the small farmers. In addition, farmers do not have assets to secure loans. Small farmers who cannot borrow money from the banks also tend to individuals in this case. Here too, high interest rates and many social and economic problems arise. But it is an unchanging fact that the farmer needs a loan to be able to carry out its production activities. Here, Agricultural Credit Cooperatives emerges as the only organization that can best meet the credit needs of farmers.
